Percussion Ensemble

Percussion Ensemble is open to any student regardless of experience. Students must have consent via the Director of Bands to join the class.

Percussion Ensemble serves as a course that can suit one of two needs:

• An introduction to music reading, percussion instruments, and playing techniques. This is targeted toward newcomers of the band world

• An expansion of percussion playing techniques.  This is targeted toward experienced percussionists. 

The Percussion Ensemble meets  every fall as a class. The Percussion Ensemble performs a variety of arrangements and compositions curated specifically for percussion instruments.
