Jazz Band

Jazz Band is open to all students who have participated in either Marching Band or Concert Band at the high school level. Students who do not meet this criteria should contact the Director of Bands to acquire consent to enroll.

The Jazz Band is considered a more advanced ensemble than the Symphonic Band due to the nature of the instrumentation and the demands of music. Admission into the Jazz Band is based on musical skill. 

The Jazz Band meets every spring as a class. The Jazz Band performs a variety of jazz and rock tunes and holds two concerts per semester.
